EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio – Mike Kennedy, a lab technician in the onsite analytical laboratory at Heritage Thermal Services, took time from his busy day recently to show local children how much fun science can be. He performed several entertaining chemistry experiments to youngsters attending this summer’s Camp E.A.R.T.H.
The East Liverpool Department of Health hosted the camp, which is geared for children between the ages of 8 and 13. HTS sponsored the camp along with three other organizations.
The children were awed by his presentations, proving that science can be fun. Thanks to Mike, perhaps some of them would be inspired to pursue a STEM career.
