Habitat for Humanity 2023

In mid-May, Heritage Environmental Services sponsored our annual Habitat for Humanity project. This year over 70 employees  from companies across The Heritage Group (THG) including Heritage Environmental Services, Heritage Interactive Services, Heritage Construction & Materials, US Aggregates, Asphalt Materials, Inc., Milestone Contractors, Monument Chemical, and The Heritage Group corporate office volunteered to complete  a panel build for soon-to-be-homeowner Symone Harding.

Symone is a single mom who was living with her mother while attending school and working at Northpoint Pediatrics to support her three-year-old son, Nasir. Nasir loves playing basketball, and she’s excited for him to have his own space inside the house, as well as space outside to play and grow.

Giving back to our local communities is a core piece of our culture here at Heritage, and we’re proud to have hosted this event for the last 13 years. Our employees enjoyed taking some time out of their day to help build a home Symone and Nasir can call their own. The panel build event, now regularly hosted in The Center parking lot at The Heritage Group corporate office in Indianapolis, provides an opportunity to bring employees to a central location without the need for further time away from work for travel to the build site. Employees across various roles and THG companies are able to network as they give back.
