Benton, AR – If you are located in the Saline County AR area, come out and see us at the Benton Event Center for the 2nd Annual Saline County Family Safety & Preparedness Expo.  It is tonight, September 18, 2019 from 4:30 pm – 8:00 pm.  Over 50 companies from across Central Arkansas are expected to attend and host tables.  This gives the families in our community to walk through the exhibit area and get information regarding Public Safety, Health and Preparedness.  There will be safety demonstrations, preparedness activities for the children, free hot dogs and popcorn.  There will also be a raffle to win some items donated by the companies exhibiting.

We will be there along with our King Vac Truck.  Come out and see us.

Benton, AR – Earlier this year, managers from our facility approached the Saline County Sheriff’s Office to inquire how we could make a donation.  Within a few weeks, we were able to present a check to Sheriff Rodney Wright for the purchase and training of a new K-9 dog, Sergeant Rineco.

In May 2018, K-9 handler Corporal Logan Knight and his partner “Rineco” graduated from the Little Rock K-9 Academy.  Sergeant Rineco has been trained and is certified in narcotic detection, tracking, building searches and bite-work apprehension.

Since Sergeant Rineco’s graduation, our employees in Benton have been raising money through a raffle.  Raffle tickets were sold at one dollar each and the winner was given authority to pour a 5 gallon bucket of ice water on the head of a supervisor of their choosing.  We were able to raise $1,000 and this morning, presented Sheriff Wright with a check in that amount.

The money will be specifically used to buy a light-weight level III protective vest which Sergeant Rineco can wear throughout his tour of duty.  The remainder of the money will be used to purchase K-9 training aids.

BENTON, Arkansas – This morning, Heritage presented Harmony Grove School District with a significant donation. Ernie Walker and Jackie Morehead delivered the check to Harmony Grove’s Superintendent, Heath Bennett. The donation will be used for improvements that they need for the school.

We value our continued relationship with the school and the ability to contribute when needed.

BENTON, Arkansas – Today, Heritage made a significant donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Saline County. The club is considered a second home to over 600 children each day. They provide a place for the kids to eat a hot meal, complete their homework, enjoy arts and crafts, learn important life skills and most importantly, they have fun. Heritage is proud to contribute to the Boys and Girls Club of Saline County’s relentless pursuit to meet the needs of vulnerable kids in our community.

BENTON, Arkansas – Heritage is participating in Harmony Grove School’s Earth Day celebration today. We will have the chance to talk to students from kindergarten to 5th grade and tell them how Heritage helps to keep our earth green. We have participated in Harmony Grove’s event for more than 10 years. At our table, we will be teaching the students the types of items that they can recycle at their homes.

There are vendors from Central Arkansas that participate with us. The kids are able to go from table to table to learn about our local company’s green initiatives. We love this event and the chance to interact with the students.
