At Heritage, recycling isn’t an option, it’s an outlook. Every container, large or small, is evaluated to see whether part or all can be reclaimed and reused. It’s part of our process to reduce the amount of waste we dispose, while also protecting natural resources.
We take a collaborative approach and our experts will guide you every step of the way. First, we work with you to find every available option for reuse of your waste. Then, we find the right mix of Heritage-owned assets, and in some cases trusted partners, to execute the right plan. When it comes to reuse and recycling, the right plan definitely considers changes in total cost of ownership/use. Click here to learn how we look for alternatives to typical disposal conventions.
We opened three industrial recycling facilities (in Juarez, Mexico, Iowa City, Iowa, and Indianapolis, Indiana) to better serve the needs of our customers in those areas. We also have employees onsite at a significant number of customer locations to assure that their recycling programs are maintained at the highest levels of return and efficiency. We are ready to implement a custom solution for you. Click here to learn more about what we do at our customer’s sites.
Onsite at Heritage facilities, we make special efforts to recycle all materials involved in our operations — its all part of our internal sustainability efforts. At our Benton, Arkansas facility we have a Containerized Decontamination Unit (CDU) that allows us to prepare used steel drums for recycling.
