EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio – Since 1998, Heritage Thermal Services (HTS) has financially supported environmental projects in the East Liverpool area proposed by non-profit and school groups. Whether it’s for a recycling project, wildlife display or butterfly garden, these projects have a positive impact on the community and help further environmental education. This year, 12 organizations received $6,650 in grants, which brings the program total to $87,250.
We thank Ohio Rep. Tim Ginter for taking time to present the grants with HTS President Chris Pherson to this year’s recipients. They presented the awards during our annual free collection of household hazardous wastes for East Liverpool-area residents on Earth Day. Let’s meet this year’s environmental grant class. 2017 Environmental Grants
