Treatment and Disposal

Recycle/Reuse

Recycle or reuse is the primary method of waste management under the Heritage hierarchy. Presently, Heritage recycles/reuses numerous types of wastestreams, including universal waste, fuels, oils, precious metals and scrap materials (steel, fiber, plastic).  Click here to learn more about our by-product management services, Expanded Service Offerings.

In addition to standard waste management practices, the Heritage Research and Development Committee, staffed by full-time scientists, engineers and chemists, evaluates the merits of preventing, minimizing, using, reusing, or recycling a variety of secondary materials. Heritage has a well-established track record in this regard, evaluating the technical, economic and practical aspects of such projects.  Click here to learn more about our R&D Success Stories.
