Laboratory
Testing
The Heritage Laboratory has the capabilities to perform
analysis according to the EPA, SW846 and ASTM
methodologies. These include Wastewater, Groundwater,
Waste Characterization/TCLP, Drinking Water and PCB's and
other various types of product testing.
RCRA (Resource Conservation Recovery Act) -
Waste Characterization & TCLP - Heritage can assist in all of your waste characterizing and TCLP analysis/determination needs. These services include: Waste Characterization, TCLP (Toxicity Characteristics Leaching Procedure), Site Closure Assessment, Compatibility Testing, Underground Storage Tanks (UST), full range of EPA SW846 Methods, Soil Testing, Land Disposal Restriction Treatment Standards, Appendix III and Appendix IX, Delisting Petitions, and TSCA (PCBs in Oil, Soil, Water, and Swipes).
Groundwater Monitoring - Heritage can design and conduct groundwater monitoring programs tailored to each customer's needs and can supply experienced personnel to install monitoring wells, conduct sampling and analysis, and manage and interpret data.
Heritage can use its long-term experience in analysis of
ground water to provide reliable consistent data along with
electronic deliverables (historical data and trending
information can be utilized).
CWA (Clean Water Act) -
Direct and Indirect Discharges,
NPDES Conventional Parameters, Priority Pollutants,
Low Level Hg, Sludge/Land Application Analysis (all
utilizing EPA and ASTM Methods) Heritage uses
ICP, Trace ICP, ICP/MS, GC, HPLC, GC/MS, FTIR, and XRF
for the analysis of all parameters and matrices.
SDWA (Safe Drinking Water Act) -
Synthetic Organic Chemicals (SOCs), Volatile and Semi-Volatile Organics, Pesticides and Herbicides, Trace Metals and Bacteria
Trace Metals Analysis
Testing methods include ICP, Trace ICP, ICP/MS, atomic fluorescence, GC, and GC/MS. Metal analysis includes, but is not limited to: arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, selenium and silver.
